Restormel Museums Showcase Exhibition
An exhibition is being hosted in the main entrance of the China Clay Country Park [Wheal Martyn] thoughout May 2007.
Designed to showcase the museums of Restormel, Newquay Old Cornwall Society (NOCS) has been invited as one of the participants in stageing it.
NOCS will be showing it's industrial knitting machine that was once used in Newquay's extensive knitware industry and there will be supporting photographs from the society's archives. It is also planned to show a dvd based multimedia dislay to be produced especially for this event.
The exhibition will be officially opened on the evening of Wednesday 2nd May 2007.
